In a little town called Bethlehem
Many long years ago
Came the Son of our Christ Savior
Jesus, the Son of God's glow

The North Star shone so brightly
On that cold winter's night
A gift was born to all the world
A true miracle of peace and light

He now sets in Heaven
Watching over us from above
Guiding us by his loving hand
Filled with His mighty love

On Christmas Day we'll bow our heads
Giving thanks to our Savior's birth
Praying for peace and goodwill toward men
And for a quiet hush to surround our earth
